About the Maurek Breedlove Foundation
The Maurek Breedlove Foundation was established in loving memory of Maurek Breedlove to transform loss into purpose and create lasting change throughout the City of North Miami Beach. Guided by our mission to Stop the Violence, we are committed to empowering youth, strengthening families, and building safer, more connected communities.
Through mentorship, scholarships, community initiatives, violence prevention, and outreach programs, we bring together residents, community leaders, law enforcement, local government, businesses, and nonprofit partners to inspire hope and create opportunities for the next generation. We believe that when a community stands united, every young person has the chance to thrive, every family has the opportunity to heal, and every neighborhood becomes stronger.
