At Maurek Breedlove Foundation, we have come face to face with pain one time too many. When we were hit with the unbelievable pain of losing Maurek Breedlove. A son; a twin; a brother; an uncle; and a friend to a senseless cowardly act of gun violence. It activated something different. Out of that pain came compassion for those affected by gun and other acts of violence.

We can not stop the violence, nor change the act. Since we are intimately aware of what’s needed in those times, Maurek Breedlove Foundation want to be a resource in your time of need.

Founded in 2024, Maurek Breedlove Foundation has been working with community leaders and advocates to determine the best way to serve the city of North Miami Beach and the neighborhoods within. We are building the necessary relationships within the community which will allow us to be more accessible to those that may need our services as well as expanding our services to other areas.
